Hallow Parish Council has achieved a Locality Grant to pay for the cost of Data Orchard consultants. Locality Grants are the way the government enables parish councils to undertake Neighbourhood Development Plans and to pay for the professional help they need. Hallow Parish Council appoints Data Orchard Consultants to advise on the Neighbourhood Development Plan
At the 13th November 2017 meeting of Hallow Parish Council the council resolved to appoint Data Orchard as consultants to the NDP. (HPC Minute 422).
Data Orchard are located in Herefordshire and have previously worked on plans in Herefordshire and Worcestershire. They are a social enterprise company who work in collaboration with communities, and are registered as a “Community Interest Company” who use their profits for public good. The Hallow NDP Steering Group looks forward to working with Data Orchard.

Hallow Built Environment and Historical Assets Walkabout completed
On the 4th November 2017 a group of 26 volunteers were briefed by Stuart Cumella from Martley Parish Council and in small groups completed the “My Place Matters” survey. The weather was kind and the activity was an enjoyable experience where villagers learnt about the village and its key features. Over 200 photographs were taken providing an extensive record for the Hallow History Group as well as for use by the NDP.

At the June 12th 2017 Parish Council meeting Hallow Parish Council agreed to progress a Neighbourhood Development Plan.
